the staff there were incredibly helpful and nice, with the people next door even offering us a free meal when we arrived late and hungry. the location was perfect, away from the busy roads of Kandy but still close to the city center, shops, and restaurants. the rooms were small but comfortable, providing me with a peaceful stay. the manager of the residence was a fantastic resource for exploring the city and gave me great advice on avoiding overpaying while shopping. The popular attractions of the Kandy Cultural Dance performance and the Tooth Temple evening ceremony were within a short walk from the residence. Cons: Not obvious to find ⚠️.

The hotel is located close to a beautiful nature reserve and the bustling city center, making it great for exploring both sides of the area. the staff are friendly and welcoming, making sure to make the experience enjoyable. the hotel offered a very affordable breakfast, which was a great start to the day.
One downside is the steep hill leading up to the hotel. This could be a challenge for those who prefer to walk, although it is less of an issue if you have a car or driver.
